Ahoy! Feel like sipping some champagne on a yacht this summer? Me too. Instead, I’ll just dress like I am and pretend that I’m there while I work all week. *sigh*. How cute is this springy nautical look?! This look was created for under $50! I found these stunning linen-like culottes at Forever 21 for $30. I love the luxurious feel of the fabric, the downside is that my steamer has to be on hand when wearing these babies. I spotted this striped top at Old Navy for $19.95 and $30% off-score! You can easily recreate this look by finding some white pants and a striped top. Just add some jewelry, sandals, and a killer bag, and you are good to set sail!
Hubby and I had so much fun shooting this look in our favourite little town down the road, Kleinberg. Enjoy some of the other shots (and outtakes).

Kimono? More like KimoYES.
One of SS18 hottest trends is the open kimono. You can find them in a variety of colours, styles and patterns in so many budget friendly stores. This one is from Forever 21 and was under $30. It’s a good transitional piece to go from spring to summer. It can easily be thrown over a dress, worn with jeans, or even as a bathing suit cover up. This particular one is sold out, but I’ve linked some similar ones down below.
JUMP-ing Into This Spring Trend
God Bless whoever decided that jumpsuits needed to be made longer for tall people. I have been obsessing over the jumpsuit trend coming back. I love how stores have been incorporating this spring’s trend of vertical stripes into the jumpsuit trend. They make a fantastic combination and make your legs look miles long. This jumpsuit was under $30 from Urban Planet. I’ve linked some similar ones (and ones I also may own) down below for you to pick one up yourself. The only downside to jumpsuits? Getting naked in the bathroom when you have to go. #femaleproblems.
