“Good shoes take you good places.” A quote that I can definitely get behind. If you’ve ever been to my house- you may have noticed that I have quite the collection of footwear. You may think that I got my shoe obsession from my mom, well think again. We can blame my fashion savvy father for that one. I have never seen so many Steve Madden dress shoes in my entire life. Note- he is the one who taught me to thrift, so you know that he got deals on all of them.

These beauties from Call it Spring (the sister store to Aldo), are an amazing transitional shoe. They are great for those cooler summer days, and then can be worn all the way into late fall! I am still obsessed with the snake skin printed clothing and accessories, so these babies are sure to fill that trendy desire.

Speaking of my snake skin printed obsession, allow me to introduce to you the sexiest heels of summer! Complete with the single toe strap-an ode to the 90’s- these shoes are perfect for your OOTD pic, and will honor your budget. From personal experience of buying mostly Urban Planet shoes my entire life (and styling them on my models each week) the majority of the UP shoes are comfortable. This heel is high, but for the price compared to other retailers, you really can’t go wrong.

I always kick myself if i don’t have a classic, easy to walk in shoe in BLACK. As much as I adore fun colours and prints, if you find a solid shoe like this, buy it in black too. I like the heel height on these slides from H&M, because they add a bit of glam to the shoe. The 1 inch heel instantly dresses up a plain flat. The subtle scalloped detailing on the straps really sets this pair apart, too.

If you ever doubt that this truly isn’t a list of my favourite shoes, then take a look at my receipts. As I was creating this blog post, I added these fabulous Old Navy babies to my collection. I mean, POL-KA DOTS!!! Can it get any cuter? I think not. Want to twin with me all summer? Snag a pair of your own. Meanwhile, I’ll be here waiting for my package to arrive, and hoping that one day The Nave will ask me to collab with them.

Let us take a moment of silence for the extinct Target Canada. You were short lived, but girl, you had my back. BUT Y”ALL how cute are these!? If it wasn’t for the insane shipping charges or how far we live from the border, these stunners would be all over my IG feed. I adore the intricate ankle straps, and I swoon for all things leopard print. Okay so who’s joining me for a Target run??

As soon as I saw these shoes, I instantly had a flashback to my MK&A days (Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen OBV). These tie up espadrille wedges give me allllll of the 00’s vibes. I have a similar pair from Old Navy in red, but now I feel like I may have to have them in yellow, too…

Most people may not know this, but American Eagle actually has a giant collection of shoes online! They have everything from their own, more affordable AEO brand, to Hunter Boots and Dolce Vita sandals. This particular pair is the AE house brand, and I just adore the texture on them! I am always on the hunt for a different style of shoe, cool pattern, colour, or texture, and these ones fit exactly that!

Tired of snake print in this post? Ya, me neither! Which is why I just HAD to add these into the mix. Not only is this colour and pattern to die for, but this 90’s silhouette is unreal! Zara went straight back to 1998 for the spring 19 collection, and I loved every piece. It is nearing the end of the insane #zarasale, so you better scoop these babies up before they’re gone!!
